Adessa, a company within the Falabella Group that provides technology services to the holding, tasked Tecnova with the implementation of the Internal Supply Control System. This solution enables stores to manage and control the supply needs required for internal maintenance at each location, while also providing full traceability of product usage.

To support this control, a web-based solution was developed with the following objectives:

• Provide real-time visibility of in-store supply inventories along with their valuation.
• Suggest replenishment orders based on actual consumption.
• Display real-time stock levels in supply warehouses.
• Support procurement and purchasing management processes.

System Modules

The system was implemented using a workflow-based solution that enables the control and management of supply requests through to procurement. This approach generates a comprehensive information trail that supports additional operational and business-related processes. In summary, the main functionalities implemented include:

Supply Request Submission Each store formally manages its supply requests, with supporting information provided regarding current on-site product stock levels.

Request Authorization: Stores are grouped by operational areas, and a designated role is responsible for reviewing each request, with the ability to approve or reject it. In the case of rejection, requests are returned for correction.

Administrator: Requests are managed by an Administrator who has access to a set of functionalities that allow them to:

• Add approved requests to a consolidated regional order list.
• Group requests by supplier and item, enabling centralized purchasing and better pricing through volume discounts.
• Generate purchase order requests.
• Submit requests to the centralized purchasing system.
• Await offline confirmation of purchase completion.

Utilities: The system also includes tools to support business management, such as:

• Role-based profile administration.
• An integrated task inbox.
• Process and business status queries and reports.
• Integrated management with the company’s stock system.
