QA Service Description

A comprehensive quality service involves the improvement, definition, and operation of a structured set of methodologies. Tecnova’s QA services include control activities such as Functional Testing, Load and Stress Testing, Source Code Inspection, and Configuration Management. This approach is designed to establish a scalable and adaptable framework over time, enabling the generation of metrics to assess the quality of final products.

Within this framework, once the process has been improved, we continuously execute the defined activities. The process is then reviewed jointly with the client to identify opportunities for improvement. In this way, methodologies are continuously refined by applying quality models such as CMMI, ISTQB best practices, and Tecnova’s proven experience.

This service includes

Functional Testing
We enhance the existing testing process by involving the quality team early in the development lifecycle. Our methodology includes the design, execution, and tracking of test cases using test management and incident tracking tools such as TestLink and Mantis Bug Tracker.

Core System Test Cases
We create business-based test cases for the client’s core systems. This results in a reusable test library that supports regression testing and can be leveraged in future initiatives.

Permanent Testing Services
We provide a dedicated testing team that works closely with the client’s QA area to execute testing activities using functional testing methodologies on an ongoing basis.

Source Code Inspection
We review application source code prior to beginning functional testing. The goal is to identify defects that dynamic testing cannot detect, such as coding standard violations, uninitialized variables, infinite loops, among others.

Load and Stress Testing
We evaluate application behavior against response time requirements defined by the client, taking into account recurring user and transaction loads.

Configuration Management

We organize the configuration management process to control application baselines. This includes tracking application status through QA testing, user acceptance testing, change control, and maintenance processes, among others.
