Tecnova, for the insurance area of the retail company Ripley, created an online insurance sale system. The system offers the market the sale of automobile insurance through this medium for all its clients.
Thanks to the project and the automation of the sales process, customers can enter their vehicle data online, additionally selecting some relevant attributes such as deductible amount and type of coverage.
Once the information has been entered, the client is displayed all the insurance offers available from various companies, so that he can compare and choose the one that suits him best.
Finally, after choosing any of the options presented by the system, you are allowed to formalize the purchase process and make the payment or subscription through the means of payments enabled for this purpose.
The online insurance sales site integrated at least the following technical / functional aspects:
- Quote functionalities, making use of various options of insurance companies available through the online site via services
- Contracting insurance with the selected company
- Coordinate vehicle inspection services
- Use of means of payment through WebPay for the purchase process
- Policy generation
- Use of advanced electronic signature for document generation
Finally, with this project, it was possible to automate an important part of the tasks related to the quotation and purchase of insurance. As a result, the user experience was improved, allowing the product offering to be maintained 24 hours a day.
