Bice Vida offers the Life Annuities, Collective Insurance, Mass Insurance, Life Insurance and Voluntary Pension Savings products. In 2020, it generated operating income of US $ 12,500 million.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Bice Vida, required to have computer support that would allow it to exploit the sale of insurance through Sponsors and their client portfolio. For this, it commissioned Tecnova to implement the main insurance management support systems by the Telemarketing channel.

Among the systems that Tecnova implemented for the “Telemarketing Secure Sale via Sponsor” project, the following stand out:

 

Audio Library

This module performs the indexing of audio files (mp3), associating them later with the closing process of the sale of policies. In this process, the audios are received from the Contact Centers, entities that are in charge of selling products through Sponsors.

 

Policy Registration and Termination Processing

Set of processes that allows to receive files from external companies (Sponsors), with the information of the insurance movements associated with their clients, asynchronously and with daily frequency.

The processes validate in format and content the movements reported by external companies, before proceeding to apply the additions / deletions of products in the operational systems of Bice Vida. For this, the system handles data structures and independent validation rules for each external company in agreement, where the system administrator must configure the file formats to receive and the validations to be applied on the data.

Additionally, this module contemplates generating management information to be dispatched to external companies, for subsequent quadrature and management.

 

WEB query

Queries that aim to facilitate the after-sales of the contracting parties associated with policies generated through Sponsors, and to issue certificates in PDF format, in addition to allowing the insurance beneficiaries to be consulted, among other functionalities.

 

Collections

Automation of collections flows for the policies that are generated through this sales channel. In addition, information exchange processes were implemented that allow receiving and processing payroll for collections of policies and premiums by Sponsors

Finally, a services layer was also implemented to facilitate the integration of these modules with internal Bice Vida systems.

Technical Detail of the Project

The project was developed with JAVA / J2EE on ORACLE IAS 10G (0C4J), JMS queues, ADF Framework, ORACLE database, PL / SQL stored procedures and SOAP services.

On the other hand, the implementation was approached with partial deliveries by modules, during a period of 18 months. Regarding the work team, project managers, functional analysts, developers and QA analysts participated.
