TFile, information reception and validation system, originates from the need to have a technological platform to support the process of regulation and inspection of companies by state agencies. This is how the supervisory bodies carry out this action through the frequent reception and validation of large volumes of information. Therefore, to perform this task in the most efficient way and at the lowest costs, it was necessary to design a solution to automate these activities.
The TFile system solves the problem of reception, validation (formats, data type, reception deadlines, information consistency validation) and storage of information online. Furthermore, the system allows defining information reception processes by grouping a set of files to be received according to a defined frequency and formats.
Main features
Availability and Scalability
- Increased processing capacity via distributed processing, making use of a service farm structure.
- Possibility of mounting the system in Cluster schemes.
Security
- Configuration of digital certificates that allow the encryption of information.
- Profiling with different degrees of permissions on the functionalities of the system.
- Generation of audit log associated with access to the system, keeping information on the actions carried out on it.
Reception decentralization
- Administration website to configure the system and define or modify reception processes.
- Front-End that allows entities that must upload the information, send it from anywhere.
Process Automation and Configuration
- Configuration of shipping periods.
- Configuration of groups of files to include for each process.
- Generation of configurable control messaging, both for recipients and for those who send information.
- Configuration of information loading processes to post-validation transactional systems.
Initially, this system was developed for the Superintendency of Electricity and Fuels (SEC) of Chile, which has been operating since 2002. Later, it was customized to operate in the Subsecretariat of Telecommunications (SUBTEL) of Chile in 2005. Additionally After these two operations, it was again personalized for the General Superintendency of Electricity and Telecommunications of El Salvador.
