The Hospital Statistics Project developed by Tecnova for the Ministry of Health of the Government of Chile, implements a centralized system for the use of beds.
Through the administration of a data repository of hospital discharges, movement and use of beds at the national level, this project was born.
As the main requirement of the system, a dynamic engine was built, which allows the administrator to create and modify forms at any moment of time.
The direct benefit of this project, after implementing the system, it was possible to have an agile repository to make the movement and use of beds visible.
System Features
Using its own interface, the system administrator is allowed to diagram the forms, defining the fields to request, together with the types of data allowed for each one of these.
In addition to the design functionality, where it is possible to define the fields to be requested for each form, the system allows the administrator to identify validation and typing rules to be applied dynamically for each field. With this functionality, a better quality of the information managed by the system is achieved. As an example of typification, it is possible to tabulate the data related to marital status, occupation and commune. Instead, for validation, you can control that data entered such as age, weight and height are within a range of values.
On the other hand, the hospital statistics system adds functionalities for importing and exporting information to a centralized database. Finally, it has a reports module to obtain key reports for decision making.
